The day we waited for so long is finally there. ELVIS BEHIND THE IMAGE The Book is released. We hold the book in our hands now and are overwhelmed by the result.

It is hard for us to lay it down for a minute, but we have many things to do on such a day - the release day. We have to put packages together, answer questions and take orders from all over the world. It is our goal, that all of you, who already have ordered, get your own copy as soon as possible.

Especially our international friends who usually have to wait longer for overseas shipments. We are proud to be able to ship all European orders direct from Germany. This will save time and shipping costs. And we will also ship all U.S. orders direct from our location in America.

We have received many nice reactions about our "Making Of". Thank you for that.

In the future we want to do more of these "never done before" things, because we realize that people have a much greater appreciation for all that we put into each product when they get a first hand look at everything that goes into it.

It's been a long while since our last update.
We've had a lot of things to do and worked hard on our book project for you. Throughout January Bud Glass has been in Europe and we were working intensively on the upcoming DVD's and several book projects.

You won't believe how much additional work you have to do on a book even when you think it's ready. Before you are able to print you have to do a lot of pre-prints to avoid as many mistakes as possible. Styling and Layout, setting and examining pre-prints. "Are the colours printed fine? Is the quality of the paper the way we want it?" …To assure that the most important and critical pages come out as brilliant as possible we drove to the printer more than ten times and worked on the fine tuning.

Because of this intensive contact we now can guarantee for the perfect quality and hereby we kept our basic concept: creating a new standard by selecting breathtaking candid photos from the collections of Russ Howe and Sandi Miller, accompanied by the precious memories from the private journal entries of Sandi Miller. This makes BEHIND THE IMAGE - The Book one of the best and most interesting candid picture books in the Elvis world.

Then we paid a lot of attention to the production itself - our goal is to have the most unique content on the one hand, and on the other hand to have the book itself produced with the best possible and up-to-date quality.

By calculating and working as hard as possible we re-defined the phrase "more book for less money". With more than 400 photos (95% of them are in full colour) on 120 pages the Behind The Image book is from now on the lowest-priced book compared to other productions in the Elvis World.

We want to thank all of you for your support and especially those of you, who placed the order already for your patience.

We hope you had a good start in 2003! Today we have got something special for you. On Saturday, January 25, 2003 you can meet Bud Glass in Europe. Bud Glass (the creator of ELVIS BEHIND THE IMAGE) stays for filming in Europe.

You will find Bud Glass and some members of the BTI - Team Germany on Saturday, January 25, 2003 in the Netherlands. In Beverwijk at the ELVIS INTERNATIONAL SHOP, Sionstraat 12. Beverwijk is near by Amsterdam. The Shop is opened from 01.00 - 06.00 p.m..

Bud Glass will open up his vaults for you. You can see unknown and breathtaking 8mm footage of Elvis. Get a signatur on your BTI - DVD. If you don´t have it yet, you have the possibility to buy in Beverwijk one of the last copies.

Sandi was a fan who became a good friend to Elvis and was there for many private parties, quiet times at home and even rehearsals at RCA studios. She kept a journal of her numerous encounters with Elvis and as a result has MANY volumes of her memories ... so every detail is as fresh as the day it happened. This adds much more depth than a typical Elvis photo book and compliments the photos very nicely.

A handful of the photos may be recognized, but many more are included that go with each set to give a large number of photos that have never been seen. This with the great stories that accompany the photos give a totally unique book that is a nice break from the many books that have simply a date or caption that is incorrect for the most part.
